Description

A delicious slow cooker recipe for chicken breasts cooked in a creamy gravy.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, water, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir well so that all the chicken is coated in the creamy gravy.
  7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, noodles, rice, or biscuits.
