Delicious homemade pizza bagels topped with gooey cheese and pepperoni.
Ingredients

- 4 bagels (split in half)
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup pepperoni slices (mini)
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil (chopped)
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees.
- Toast the bagel halves, buttered, for about 3-5 minutes. You’ll know they are ready when you can see a little toasted color appear on the edges. This pre-toasting step is optional, but will give you the crispiest pizza bagel.
- Next, add sauce, cheese and toppings to your bagels.
- Place in the oven and bake for around 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and beginning to bubble and the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and garnish with Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs or chili flakes. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or crushed red pepper to the toppings.
