- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup flour
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet and cook the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet with melted butter and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (165°F or 74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
