Description

Delicious and easy-to-make pepperoni pinwheels using crescent roll dough, mozzarella, and provolone cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough and press seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over the dough.
  4. Layer mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, pepperoni slices, and chopped basil evenly across the surface.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log starting from the long side.
  6. Slice into 1 inch thick pinwheels.
  7. Place pinwheels flat on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush tops lightly with olive oil.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
