Description

Delicious chocolate mint patties that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp pure peppermint extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Scoop out one tablespoon of the mixture and roll into balls; flatten each ball into disks about 1/4 inch thick on parchment paper.
  3. Chill the disks in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate using two forks or a slotted spoon; allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing back on parchment paper.
  6. Let the coated patties sit at room temperature until chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
  • For an extra touch, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate before it hardens.
