Description

A rich and creamy chocolate mousse made with cottage cheese, perfect for a healthy indulgence.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or 2%)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (optional, to thin)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, dark chocolate shavings, berries, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the cottage cheese to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend again until fully mixed and rich in texture. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. If the mousse is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and blend to loosen it.
  4. Spoon the mousse into serving cups or jars and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Before serving, top with your favorite garnishes like whipped cream, dark chocolate, or berries.
