Description

Delicious and nutritious immunity-boosting juice made with fresh greens and fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, (cored, sliced)
  • 2 ribs celery, (chopped)
  • 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach, (packed)
  • 1 medium lemon, (peeled)
  • ½ cup (15 to 20 grams) fresh parsley, (loosely packed)
  • 2 tablespoons (25 grams) fresh ginger, (peeled)
  • 1 ½ cups coconut water

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.
  2. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to help push the juice through. (For an extra-smooth shot, use a cheesecloth instead.)
  3. Use a funnel to fill small glasses or shot bottles with the juice. Repeat until all juice is poured.
  4. Seal the bottles or cover the glasses and place them in the refrigerator to chill before enjoying.
  5. Store your Greens Immunity Boosting shots in airtight bottles or jars in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, but they taste best within 3 to 5 days.

Notes

  • For an extra-smooth texture, use cheesecloth.
  • Best consumed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator.
