Description
A delicious and easy recipe for homemade garlic bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf French bread
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together the softened butter, parmesan cheese, chopped parsley and garlic powder. If your butter isn’t soft melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds or less.
- Cut the french loaf in half lengthwise, as if you were going to make a giant sandwich. I then like to cut off the ends and cut into individual pieces as I like more crispy edges on my garlic toast.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the bread.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
- Bake at 425°F for 8-10 minutes.
Notes
- Make sure to use fresh parsley for the best flavor.
- Adjust the amount of garlic powder to your taste.
