Garlic Bread

Description

A delicious and easy recipe for homemade garlic bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix together the softened butter, parmesan cheese, chopped parsley and garlic powder. If your butter isn’t soft melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds or less.
  2. Cut the french loaf in half lengthwise, as if you were going to make a giant sandwich. I then like to cut off the ends and cut into individual pieces as I like more crispy edges on my garlic toast.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the bread.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
  5. Bake at 425°F for 8-10 minutes.

Notes

  • Make sure to use fresh parsley for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic powder to your taste.
