Description

This savory and sweet dish features tender chicken thighs and roasted cauliflower, glazed with a delicious honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Place the chicken pieces and cauliflower florets on the prepared sheet pan.
  4. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the sauce for later; pour the remaining sauce over the chicken and cauliflower.
  5. Toss the ingredients until evenly coated and spread them out into a single layer across the pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cauliflower is tender with caramelized edges.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with the reserved sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Ensure that the chicken is cut into even pieces for uniform cooking.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
