Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, minced garlic, and dried thyme.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken.
  6. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, frequently spooning the sauce over the chicken until the glaze has thickened and coated the meat.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
