- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth (link)
- 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream
- 1 cup caesar dressing (link)
- 8 ounces pasta (gluten-free for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the garlic and chicken, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink.
- Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and caesar dressing, bringing to a simmer.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and add to the skillet.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
