Description
Delicious chocolate cherry swirl bars made with dark and white chocolate, maraschino cherries, and sweetened condensed milk.

- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided
- 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting.
- Combine dark chocolate chips with half of the condensed milk and melt in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Combine white chocolate chips with remaining condensed milk and melt the same way until creamy.
- Stir vanilla extract and butter into both chocolate mixtures.
- Fold the drained cherries into the white chocolate mixture.
- Spread half of the dark chocolate mixture into the prepared pan.
- Layer the white chocolate cherry mixture evenly on top.
- Add the remaining dark chocolate and gently swirl with a knife.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
- Lift from pan, slice into 16 squares, and serve.
Notes
- Make sure the cherries are thoroughly dried to prevent excess moisture in the bars.
- These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
