Description

A delicious pull apart bread infused with garlic and rosemary, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until it forms a soft dough.
  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Melt butter and mix in minced garlic and chopped rosemary in a small bowl.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough to release air bubbles. Divide it into equal pieces (about 12-15) and dip each piece into the garlic mixture before stacking them vertically in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Cover the loaf pan with a cloth and let it rise again for about 30 minutes until puffed up.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
